You might already be acing all these amazing tips, and if so, use this list as a source of immense pride because, wow, look at you go! 🙆‍♀️

❓ The mystical black holes of time on my resume - How to address it?

👉 If there are specific areas where you sense a gap, prepare compelling responses to highlight your ability to learn and grow.
💁‍♀️ As a recruiter I've seen some awesome candidates totally own those gaps like a boss, and they all share a common theme in their stories - the "personal initiative."
The fact that they acknowledge the gap and are ready to do something about it always leaves me feeling like, "Wow." It's so cool to see people who not only know where they need to improve, but actively look for ways to make it happen.
💖 My personal favourite was the one candidate who was changing careers to data analytics and spoke in great lengths on how he found data sets onKaggleand has been polishing his analytical skills!

❓ Snoop and Scoop much?

👉 Researching the company you're applying to is a big deal before a job interview. It won't just help you ask the right questions, but also give you the scoop on the company and add depth to your interview chats.
💁‍♀️ Resources that can help - Company News and pages on LinkedIn for the latest and greatest, Glassdoor, Indeed, Business news..
💖 My absolute favourite encounters are when the candidate has taken the time to do these -:
💡 Career trajectories of the key executives on the team - tells me they spent time researching!
💡 Company News and Announcements - tells me they are engaged candidates who align with org vision and mission enough to bring it up in the conversation.
💡 How does the org compare in the market dynamics - tells me they've done research on the industry.

Hey opentowork you've got a mountain of skills. Dont doubt them! Your next job isn't about competing with thousands- its about showcasing your unique journey. hashtag
Stay resilient and keep pushing forward! 🚀
